The Minister of Youth and Sports, Hon. Atty. Cornelia W. Kruah, on yesterday held a strategic meeting with UNICEF Country Representative, Andrew Brooks, aimed at revitalizing the A4AD Project and strengthening ongoing interventions that support adolescent girls across Liberia.
The high-level discussion focused on reinforcing program implementation frameworks that promote adolescent development, protection, empowerment, and social inclusion.
Both parties emphasized the urgent need to reactivate and strengthen initiatives designed to improve opportunities and outcomes for adolescent girls, particularly those in vulnerable and underserved communities.
Key areas of focus included the reactivation of critical programs, improved coordination and collaboration mechanisms, enhanced service delivery, and stronger stakeholder alignment to accelerate impact nationwide.
The meeting also underscored the importance of developing sustainable and inclusive interventions capable of creating long-term benefits for adolescent girls throughout the country.
The engagement concluded with a renewed commitment by the Ministry of Youth and Sports and UNICEF to deepen their partnership and work collectively toward achieving measurable and lasting impact in the lives of young people, especially adolescent girls in Liberia.
