MONROVIA, LIBERIA – June 24, 2026 – The Minister of Youth and Sports on Tuesday, June 23, 2026, hosted a high-level dinner meeting with renowned French football agent Farid Adjaoud, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Adjaoud Consulting 4 Stars Management, to discuss strategic partnerships aimed at strengthening football development and creating international opportunities for Liberian players.

Mr. Adjaoud was accompanied by France based Liberian Mohammed Diallo. The meeting also brought together key stakeholders from the Liberia Football Association and women’s football clubs to discuss strategic collaborations that could strengthen Liberia's football ecosystem.

Discussions focused on creating sustainable pathways for Liberian football talents to access professional opportunities abroad, enhancing scouting and talent identification systems, strengthening connections with international clubs, and promoting opportunities for both male and female players on the global stage. Participants also explored future partnerships that could support grassroots football development and the establishment of academy structures to nurture young talents across Liberia.

Speaking during the engagement, participants emphasized the importance of structured partnerships that can help position Liberia as a competitive source of football talent while ensuring that young athletes receive the support and exposure needed to succeed internationally.

As a symbolic gesture of friendship and collaboration, Mr. Adjaoud presented two signed Columbus Crew jerseys worn by Liberian American football star Darlington Nagbe. The jerseys were designated as gifts for His Excellency Joseph Nyuma Boakai, President of the Republic of Liberia, and Hon. Sara Beysolow Nyanti, Minister of Foreign Affairs.

The meeting concluded with a shared commitment to continue dialogue and pursue practical initiatives that will contribute to the growth of football in Liberia, strengthen player development structures, and create greater opportunities for Liberian athletes at the international level.
