NATIONAL PATHWAY PROGRAM CONCLUDES WASSCE TUTORIAL IN FOUR COUNTIES.
The Ministry of Youth and Sports-run National Pathway Program, in collaboration with the Ministry of Education, has concluded a month-long intensive West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) tutorial training initiative for about 2,283 high school seniors in four counties in Liberia.
The program, which began on April 24, 2026, was intended to address the high failure rate in the WASSCE Exams across Bomi, Grand Cape Mount, Gbarpolu, and Lofa Counties.
In an effort to address the problem, the National Pathway Program, in collaboration with the Ministry of Education, contracted Subject specialists to provide tutorials in 6 subject areas: Mathematics, English Language, Geography, Biology, Physics, and Chemistry to help improve success in this year’s WASSCE tutorial program.
With strong commitment, the school administrations and contracted subject specialists are optimistic that the program will lead to significant improvement in WASSCE results for these counties in the upcoming WASSCE Exams, which are due to commence in June of this year.
